Description : The hepatitis B virus (HBV) cohort is mainly composed of adults monoinfected with HBV. All patients are screened for HVD, HVC and HIV but co-infections are very rare. Monitoring is provided by five hepatologists who are also responsible for screening and counselling the patients. Each patient is consulted every 6 months with blood tests and abdominal ultrasound. A fibroscan is usually performed at the first consultation. Other diagnostic tools such as CT-scan and MRI are also available in our centre.  Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) is available in our pharmacy at an affordable price (90 US dollar/year).
